FEMA for Kids

Launched in February 2003, FEMA’s Ready is a national public service advertising (PSA) campaign designed to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters. The goal of the campaign is to get the public involved and ultimately to increase the level of basic preparedness across the nation.



GLOBAL was retain by FEMA to create a conceptual design for the future “FEMA for Kids” website. During this project we lead focus groups with kids of different age-groups, conducted meetings with Health and Human Services Agency to learn about newly published Government Website’s Usability Guidelines, we also consulted with kids phycologists and educators. As a result of months long project we prepared a report of findings and conceptual design founded in the information collected and researched.
